Attaining the BCU Three Star Award means that you may consider yourself an intermediate kayaker and no longer a beginner, as you can can paddle on more demanding water. This award is a pre-requisite for the Level Two Coach award.

The Three Star White Water is taken on moving water up to and including grade 2 and you should have the knowledge and abilty to be a competent member of a group being led in this environment.
