The BCU Three
Star Sea Kayak Award recognised that you are at the
standard of an improving sea paddler and no longer
a beginner. The assessment is undertaken as part of
a journey in a moderate tidal water with winds no
more than force 4.
You will need to have taken part
in at least 3 different journeys on the sea, covering
about 8nm each as well as at least one session (around
3 hours) in a different type of craft.
